I want to retire where I never have to wear socks.

Right now, I live in Vancouver, a truly beautiful city, so I might decide to stay here the rest of my life (for half the year!) But the other half, I plan to live where I never have to wear socks. I don't know where this is yet, but I believe with the power of Network Marketing, that I will be able to live where I choose.

This is the truly unique quality of the business we are in - not only does it give us the freedom to live where we want, and work the hours we choose, but it provides us with a residual income - so on those days we choose not to work at all, the money will still keep coming in. There are not very many jobs out there that can say that.

I chose the company I work with carefully, but I based most of my decision on the trusted insight of friends who are doing very well in Network Marketing. I have met many very successful people involved in Max International, and more than being impressed by their success, I am impressed at this company's dedication to helping people, and the vision of it's founder Dr. Robert Keller.

Anyone who has been involved in a business that has been less than successful, or has tired of the rat race of working 9-5, take just a few moments to check out network marketing - it just might change your life.

And take the time to look into Max International.

We are All Networkers.

It is so funny to watch some peoples reaction to the idea of Network Marketing, yet by very definition if we leave our house, we are networking.

Someone told me today, that this was her first time in Network Marketing, but she has been networking all her life. I think that applies to most of us.

Wikipedia describes Networking as "An interconnected system of things or people". Most of us in almost every job we had had, have worked with other people, and we most certainly interact with them everyday. Whether it is the person that pumps our gas, our hairdresser, our children's teachers, or the mailman, we are all connected.

The idea of a large network of people all working toward a common goal, and helping each other along the way appeals to me. Not succeeding until you help others succeed, it seems so much better than the take no prisoners approach of many businesses.

Network marketing might not be for everybody, but it might also be worth investigating.

Success is jumping from failure to failure with Enthusiam

A great Winston Churchill Quote. That is not to say that we are pleased when we fail, but the simple reality is that we do all fail sometimes. The most important thing to learn from that is that you just have to get right back at it, with enthusiasm!

In network marketing there are days that it feels like every person you approach says no, or the one person you thought was really interested in your business turns you down. You can look at this as a failure, or as an important step towards success. The law of averages does not lie! For every one yes, there will be ten no's - the secret is to look at those 10 no's as 10 steps to a YES! And every Yes brings us and our team that much closer to success.

So jump from failure to failure with enthusiam! It will make the days that you get the right
people saying yes that much more fulfilling!

Positive thinking is the only way to think!!!

When undertaking any new situation, positive thinking is the only way to think! While it is important to do the proper research first to make sure you are happy with your decision, especially in a new business venture, once you have made the decision, keep only positive thoughts.

Surround yourself with successful people (who are almost always postive thinkers!) and focus on the reason why you chose this path. Every little success, every step closer to reaching your goal will only re-enforce that you have made the right choice. When you have cleared the path for only positive thoughts- you will be unstoppable.

One helpful hint that I learned this week- especially for those of us too busy to read (or too tired to read at the end of the day) , download some ebooks, something relating to your business or life and listen to them on your MP3 player at the gym or while doing your housework. Might as well use that time to keep the positive energy flowing.

"It's a funny thing about life"

"It's a funny thing about life, If you refuse to accept anything but the best, you often get it!!"

This quote always makes me smile. It is a simple concept, but one that rings true in every aspect of life, and especially in Network Marketing, since it is 100% up to you how things transpire. No other job leaves so much control in your hands. How much time you will spend on your business each day, the kind of people you want in your organization, and most importantly why you have chosen this lifestyle over other business opportunities.

When I first started in network marketing - someone asked me what my "Why" was. I always try to remember that question when talking to new people. The Why is THE most important thing-- once you know why people are looking for a new opportunity, the how and when become much easier to plan and to help them with.

Ideally, we are in network marketing not only for ourselves, but to help others achieve financial freedom as well - all the more reason to know people and know why they are looking to you and your business, rather than the 100's of other choices out there.

If you believe the company you have chosen to work with is the BEST one out there, then it is easy to share that enthusiam with others. Refuse to accept anything but the Best!

It's only too late-if you don't start now.

This is just a note out there for all you fellow procastinators. If you are like me, you will make excuses to avoid doing things that put you out of your comfort zone , even when you know they are important.

One of the most important things in Network Marketing, is to get into action. It is hard to just pick up the phone and call leads at first But, once you get past the first few calls it becomes easier, and it is the single most important thing to building your business. Don't worry about rejection. It is natural to feel hurt -at first-but remember, you are offering people a great opportunity. If they don't see it, you can't change it-on to the the next call! Remember too that your upline is there to help you, always use 3 way calling on your 2nd call. This helps you by reinforcing to your caller that you are in a legimate and interesting business, and you can learn from the best while listening in. After all your upline is the part of the reason you are in your business.

Well. that's it for today. Gotta go make some calls!
